February 2nd. IMBOLC ( an ancient Celtic word pronounced EE-molc) is one of the 4 Celtic “Fire Festivals”. It commemorates the change of the Goddess from the Crone to the Maiden. Also known at St Brigid’s Day, Candlemass, or Groundhog Day, it also celebrates the first signs of Spring. 2 février. Imbolc (un ancien mot celtique prononcée EE-molc) est l’un des quatre “Festivals d’incendie” celtique. Elle commmore le changement de la déesse de la Sagesse à la jeune fille. Aussi connu au jour de St Brigid, Candlemass, ou Jour de la marmotte, elle célèbre aussi les premiers signes du printemps.
